WHAT WE OFFER
HISTORY
Emerald Hunters was founded approximately June 20th, 2020 by Aida Eveningball, and ownership was passed down to Rebecca Ravenbird. Starting in 2021, Emerald Hunters became semi-competitive in dressage. In February 2021, Emerald Hunters became the first dressage club to require Zoom rather than Discord for voice-commanding. Emerald Hunters has grown tremendously in terms of management, and offers a safe, immersive, and positive experience for all members. Eventually, Emerald Hunters became a Discord based club.
CLUB ENVIRONMENT
Emerald Hunters uses organized and appropriate management systems that allow riders to become successful and long-standing members. Our staff is comprised of mature individuals that work hard to provide a high-quality and drama free environment. Members are welcome to provide constructive feedback and are immersed in the day-to-day activities. The Hunters are accepting members with diverse backgrounds and experience, and riders are encouraged to spread positivity, both in game and real life.
EVENTS
Emerald Hunters also participates in fun events outside of dressage! There's never a dull moment in Emerald Hunters, as we are quite social! Members enjoy training, playing online games, Annual Events, training, photoshoots, collaborating with other clubs, and participating in the EHEC, our optional Realistic Roleplay Live Showing Stables!
INTERNET SAFETY
Emerald Hunters emphasizes internet safety. As we are all essentially just strangers on the internet, we prioritize members online safety. Here are ways we support this:
-
Members never share personal phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, school names, birth years, or real names
-
Members may not share face reveals whatsoever; they must block out their faces
-
Members cannot ask, interrogate, or otherwise investigate other members' personal information
-
Members are encouraged to report suspicious activity to me at any time (such as suspicious links, inappropriate content, and reporting member behavior
-
Although our age requirement is 13+ due to Discord's Terms of Service, we ask members to not reveal their ages beyond a certain age range (such as saying "13-16 years old"

In addition to these more 'traditional' internet safety tips, we also ask members to do the following:
-
PG topics only. We are a family friendly club, meaning that no sexual, violent, or derogatory content is not allowed
-
Potentially triggering content should be spoilered and warned in advance of sending the message
-
Members are encouraged to use tone tags to avoid misinterpreting each other's messages
DRESSAGE
